The particular strap in pic #2 was sent to me by a long time killing buddy who found them in a Lake Charles area saddle/knife shop. If you would like I can get the details.

I plan to retire one of my old straps when I get my dead mounted birds back. I will need to replace one I will not go hunting without at least two straps!

LSUballs has a few pics that haven't been posted. I think he lost interest after being banned and seeing his pics were not needed. He told me he would send them to Josey if they were needed. MSwebfoot will need to start saving gas money in order to get where ever one of us has an empty seat next year. I like him. He continued trying all year even though he wasn't having much luck. I also propose that next year mallards should be of more value than gadwalls. Oh yeah, geese need their own category outside of this competition! This post was edited on 1/13 at 8:34 pm
