He may have locked up Coach of the Year.

you guys really are obsessed...this thread is not about Matt Ryan whatsoever...if you want, you can make a "Matt Ryan vs. Colin Kaepernick" thread

Kap has taken the "Annoying fact that they played another sport which must be mentioned after every good play of theirs" trophy from Jimmy Graham who took it from Gates. His might even be worse because every pass he throws, Joe Buck feels the need to throw in an awful baseball reference

So no more comparing QBs in a thread not marked specifically for QB comparison? We'd have very few threads left with any QBs name in the title.

Doesn't he have the highest completion percentage in the NFL for passes over 20yds? Some of his throws are a little flat, but other than that......

? You think the Niners would be out of the game if they had 7 fewer points?

never said they don't get there, I said a lot of his passes look hideous...they wobble a frickton...plus he tends to overthrow deep balls that being said, his TD pass earlier was an incredible throw

Yeah he's not textbook at all and it costs him. The things Aikman is saying about the ball being flat, he does it all the time, his passes have no arc.

Dude. I just said he has the highest completion percentage of any QB in the NFL on passes greater than 20yds down field. Fox showed it earlier. He was at 65+% and Manning was the next closest at 45+%.

So was that perfect pass to Vernon Davis deep enough for you? Or do they need to travel 60 yards in the air?

Tight spiral is overrated. Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck throw wobbly balls. In fact, only Rodgers and Brady seem to throw that tight spiral everyone talks about. I think if you have a gun and it wobbles a bit, you can still get it in there. All of that said, one more baseball reference here will make me go postal. "He needed to throw that 85 miles per hour, not 93 miles per hour."
