This is the fricked up state where I live. Every fricking business is regulated and every person is regulated from smoking bans even in your own apartment or condo to wearing seat belts to all the fricking signs posted on every building regarding the various "potential" hazardous to your health products that may be used their for cleaning, yet the Porn Business is upset about being regulated to wear condoms.
Hell, since church institutions and businesses like Hobby Lobby have been told they must provide birth control and abortifacients in their healthcare plans, how in the hell can anyone in the porn industry claim "first amendment rights" to not have to wear condoms. The Porn Industry is a business, not a private bedroom affair.

So basically what you're saying is, it's not ok for churches to be regulated but it is ok for porn producers to be?
If one isn't ok, the other cant be. Just because you may believe that an industry is morally inferior doesn't mean they should lose rights.

It's a BUSINESS just like every fricking other business. You can't smoke a cigarette in a restaurant or bar now. There have been bars shutdown here for not enforcing that law. Hell, all the freaking regulations every other business has to go through in this state are much greater than "having to wear a condom."
Now, there is a supposed "seperation of church and state" I've heard liberals tell us yet you want the state to regulate the church?
I don't see a "seperation of state and porn" amendment and this isn't "free speech" because this is business making money just like every other business. If it is "free speech" then get rid of every business regulation on the books today that every other business has to follow. Hell, you can't even give take home boxes of food from church kitchens to homeless people in this state. It's against the law and the church can be fined for endangering those peoples lives.

My guess is that he believes that the state needs to stay the frick out of any consensual, voluntary business, whether it be churches or pornographers.

This is BUSINESS, not church and not private sexual encounters. Businesses are heavily regulated.
I hate how everything is regulated but hell, everyone is okay with regulations on everything else. BTW, why should I get fined for not wearing a seat belt? It's against the law to not wear a seat belt?

They aren't really regulated, yet they should be just like every other business. Hell, you can't put a new garbage disposal in your home without first getting a permit from the county to do so in Los Angeles. It's about $100 for that permit to do that.

What I'm trying to point out is that this is what happens when government is so heavily involved in every aspect of peoples lives.
Now, with that said, the day Obamacare passed is the day this came into fruition. One more thing, there are so many diseases spread in sexual activity, and the fluids are "biohazards" hence why healthcare people wear gloves.

Obamacare is government regulation of healthcare and the health of the people in the nation. It specifically calls for regulating peoples behaviors. Since this is behavior within business that does endanger ones health, do you really think that they will be exempt?

Really? First off, it calls for businesses to offer health insurance. It call for business to provide birth control and abortifacients to its female employees, even if it is in conflict with that business owners beliefs (Catholic charities, Hobby Lobby, etc.) That is removing their "choice" to do as they wish and provide what they wish to do. That is regulating their behavior.

I want seat belt laws revoked but that ain't happening. I also want Obamacare revoked and that ain't happening either. What about Hobby Lobby now being threatened with fines of over a million dollars a day for not providing birth control and abortifacients?
This is what happens when government regulates every thing and why should porn be exempt? I don't like this nonsense from government and I also don't like government using funds for all the entitlements given to people for their other choices they made. It's what happens on the "road to good intentions."

One could argue that it limits the right of a few to limit the rights and behaviors of the many....but im not sure a limit on that right is definitionally behavioral control, but im probably quibling, however, I think people who own a biz should be able to do as they please as long as they aren't on the gov dime....and again aren't you hopeful the porn industry wins one for freedom?
