Seller listed his yamaha keyboard as "perfect condition". Got it in today and it has dirty shite all over it as if its been sitting in an abandoned shed, reeks of cigarette smoke, and he simply wrapped the keyboard in triple cardboard boxes and shipped via fedex. so basically the cardboard boxes offer no protection and the top 20 keys are broken. look like fedex threw is around and that part of the keyboard got smashed.
its possible it could of been broken beforehand, but it looks more like it got jacked up during the shipment
what are my options? can I get my money back?

Find the person who shipped it to you & beat him into submission until he gives you your money back. Only logical thing to do.

If you used paypal, you'll just have to submit a claim, and it'll fall under "item significantly different than described" they'll ask for your proof and such, review it and then give you your money back and slap him on the wrist.

So I should I take a video or just pics. and I'll get my money back even if he says it was damaged during shipping?

Have you contacted the seller yet? From what it sounds like, he misrepresented the product and did a shitty job of packing it, thus he is somewhat to blame if it was damaged during shipping. Contact him and Paypal.
What kind of feedback did this prick have?

he had 100% positive feedback with 37 transactions, a good bit of them he was the seller.
However, He listed the auction as a local pickup only. I contacted him (through the ebay messaging) and we worked out a deal to where he would ship it to me. he did so and provided tracking number through ebay.
Am I going to get screwed because of this?

will they require me to ship it back to him? need to know if I need to keep these shitty cardboard boxes, but they reek of smoke
