Josh - I was excited about this project from the beginning, although I was just slightly skeptical (not unreasonably) about any short-term successes - your updates have been helpful. Thanks for these, man.

They are open sourcing these projects. Anyone with a 3D printer who wants to sell these will be able to.

Yes, I don't know if you know, but Cody Wilson spoke at the BitCoin conference in England last year.

I'm going to go watch that video when I get home. Also, did Kokesh ever post the video from his interview with Cody earlier this week?

"Oh you want to regulate manfacturing well we will just take that back from you." Its amazing this guy can walk freely in the street without liberals trying to kill him.

Roughly how many privately owned 3D printers are out there? Are these guys getting a lot of help from smart, random people around the country?

I know these aren't amazing results, but they're very promising - just need tweaks to the design and a nudge or two on the materials. I know the ultimate goal is to directly manufacture whatever you want. However, as an intermediate step, I'm wondering if they're considered printing molds as a precursor to using materials that cannot currently be used to print - that might be a short-term workaround until magazines (and lowers) can be printed. You know what the powers-that-be will do once this project is complete? They'll move on the barrels and ammo which will be more difficult to replicate with existing technology.

There are many privately owned printers in the form of RepRaps and Makerbots but these guys are using industry grady 3D printers for now. They are still getting help but i think they are doing most of the work themselves.
