i'll repeat. get a plasma. better for gaming and sports IMO.
after wasting way to much time researching i ended up with a Panasonic Plasma GT50. would not trade it for any other.

Thinking of plasma for the big living room TV. They are a bit cheaper, too.

Also keep in mind that lighting in the given room should carry some weight.
Led is better for brighter rooms as the colors are brighter and it doesn't reflect as bad.
Plasma is better for darker rooms because the colors are more natural and it reflects a little more than LED or LCD.
I tend to keep my living room dim so the LED tv I had was just too bright and unnatural. The plasma colors worked better.
Just a thought.
