ESPN has really taken the wal mart style approach to sports. Offer everything. Not the best, just everything. Even if you don't have the staff to cover it effectively. Cover it and then market the shite out of it.

Yeah becuase Bain is ranekd tops in the ESPN world and low in the Rivals world.
Amazes me how the scouts all see something different.

Just noticed that Boutte is ranked extremely low. Bottom of the page even. Lilek ESPN and Rivals are on two different planets on these evals.

There was a recruit (Jake Heaps) a couple of years ago who both the UA AA game and the Army AA game were trying to get to play. ESPN told him that they wouldn't rank him as high if he played in the Army game
A family member of his was posting on a premium UW forum that I read and giving us updates about it. I forget all of the specific details though.
I know you guys don't have too much exposure to the west coast recruits, but ESPN's rankings out here are absolutely pathetic.

I have no issue with their team rankings, but the way they ranked the LSU commits is atrocious.

It was on a Scout.com board. They don't archive the posts past a certain point (2 months for that board). Plus it was a combination of message board posts and a chat room.
I really wish I could though. Greg Biggins, who used to work for them as a recruiting analyst, also basically called their whole rankings process a joke and that was one of the main reasons he left there.

He took a giant dive in their rankings. He was in the 50s overall whenever he committed.
Beckwith also took a large tumble. Went from ~20 to 41.
