The very fact that there are "gun free zones" is a joke. Hell, the projects are gun free and drug free zones.

Another thing, we don't know any details about this shooting. I have a feeling that it is probably gang related because such shootings have been the case here in junior and senior high schools.

Is everyone required to pretend to be devastated by injuries / deaths of people they have never heard of? I find the "faux weepiness" to be sillier than a few crude jokes to make a POLITICAL point on the POLI-BOARD! Sheeesh....everyone is concerned about young people being shot. But, I am not incapacitated or overcome with grief over strangers thousands of miles away.

What's worse? Making a joke or using a tragedy as emotional leverage to strip law-abiders of their rights?

He was carrying a shotgun. So how does the media spin this? There are ONLY two choices: A) ALL weapons need to be banned B) Because of the 'lack' of casualties, this proves that we need to ban the scary looking fully automatic-semi auto machine gun assault clip AK40ARGlock15 guns. And scopes.

I am not saying that people should be more respectful of the victims or any of that bullahit. No am saying the continual "ban phone books!"-type responses is fricking retarded. It's a comment on the level of debate. It is a serious situation and a serious discussion could be had about any serious situation. I make stupid comments about serious situations, too, but I try to mix it up. Get over yourself, too.

Both are bad. I am not what you apparently think I am.

Do you have any idea how many threads have "retarded" posts in them? The subject matter of this one does not require a higher level of posting astuteness. Its a message board.

Are you okay? I'm not defending the "bullshite". I am defending the "bullshiteters" I am relatively even handed. I often defend the 'liberal' poster when he is vilified by the 'conservative' one. And, in this case, I am defending the 'joker' against the 'anti-joker'

He flies in the air for a living. You don't know what you're asking, unless you expect him to start flying airplanes, but then he's one step closer to a black astronaut. Is that what you want? Black astronaut?

Then tell your side of the debate to stop acting like children. Gun control advocates consistently misrepresent facts and always appeal to emotions in the aftermath of a shooting to push their agenda. If you don't like people mocking gun control advocates then stop making it so easy.
