There were rumors in August that it would be Boston. Apparently some employees from Bethesda were seen in Boston taking pictures.

If they were taking pictures in August, I guess the game is still a long ways off.
Anyone remember the post nuclear war games that predated the FO series, then had the makers go on to work on FO1 and 2? They were on that website that tries to collect money in donations to get the project rolling and I want to check up on the progress.

I donated to that kickstarter project, I believe it was called Wastelander (iirc). They've been updating via email for a while now, but the original predated FO by quite a bit. The graphics were oregon-trail level.

Found it (couldn't remember the name of the site, once you provided it just took a minute). Wasteland 2. Looks like that one is a ways off as well, but they needed $900,000 to get it going and have raised just under $3m.

Hate to rain on the parade but essentially they haven't even announced they are working on it yet so this will be the first announcement. Probably at least a year away if not longer. Nice that they are still working on it and aren't using 100% of their resources for Elder Scrolls MMORPG.
Lets just hope they aren't going to screw Fallout like they are planning on doing with Elder Scrolls.
