should be coming up here shortly... they're typically pretty good live
ETA: the tonight show gave them a horn section, that was sweet!

Tonight @ the Circle Bar! Should be a good show. Another band to cross off my list.
Also, looking back on this thread, ya'll were thinking about me when thinking of the poster who thought the Whigs could play bigger venues. Let me clear that up. I don't think the Whigs are an arena band. No way in hell. The point I was trying to make was that not many people go through the effort of finding good music. I think a band like "The Whigs" who play a lot of the big festivals in the U.S. and play Letterman and Kimmel shouldn't have that much trouble selling out a venue like The Varsity. However, they play venues like the Circle Bar and that's cool with me.
