Take vitamin d. At least 5000iu a day. VitD rapes the flu.

Eh.

Not really.

It *might* help.

Rapeage is out of the question though.

for some reason, eating oranges always works for me. Not drinking oj. Eating oranges. Body always responds to it when I start getting a cold or something worse.

Oh I understand them quite well. I used to be mandated to get the flu shot. And I always got the flu after the shot. There are non LIVE VIRUS flu shots though. It all gets complicated but I was healthier when I was not mandated to get the flu shots.

I'm a healthcare worker. Treat flu every year. Get the flu shot every year. Feel like shite for a day or so after the shot.

Never caught the flu.

re: The U.S. Flu Epidemic
Had something similar around Dec 22-Jan 2. Christmas day was brutal. Still lingering but I'm mostly over it. Felt like a really bad sinus infection at first....everyone around me at work had it (I work and live in the Memphis area) and my wife had it. I knew it was coming even though I got the flu shot this year.

Before December, I hadn't had the flu in years. Whatever this was topped any sickness I have had as an adult.

Yeah.

Vitamin D is mostly used for unrelated stuff like calcium absorption.

No study has a conclusive link between immune function and Vit D

re: The U.S. Flu Epidemic
I've found that I am sick less often when I eat a good bit of bananas. Nothing to back it up other than I am sick when I don't eat them and not when I do.
