I have a problem with that though. Okay, we have bigger needs than him but after what happened to our defense this year, why all the crap for a simple discussion about a player? A lot of it is just SEC homer bull shite and that sucks.

edit: why not throw more feedback with responses like, we need more help at OLB than MLB. Or people could give a take of what they saw from our LB's that they liked or didn't like this past year.

all good. We need more speed at that position. We have for years. Lofton played pretty well I thought but there wasn't much stability at OLB this year. With the injuries and what not.

exactly.
it's not an sec thing. heck teo is a likable guy.. but it is what it is.. the guy is not warranted the type of praise he got. it's not about hating ND or loving the sec players only.
i want a guy who imposes his will on this defense. a true difference maker. teo looks slow, he looked timid tonight, does he even hit hard? i have never seen teo just light someone up.. he doesn't force fumbles.. he doesn't tackle for loss. he whiffs.. most his stats are gang related tackles.. i just don't know if i'd want that..
another thing is just how often do these highly touted media darlings work out in the nfl of late? and yes i know that's sort of a superstitious and silly.. but there may be a pattern here as well.. maybe theres not.. either way i'd prefer a guy with a little more speed and size.

Remove Teo's Notre Dame uniform and put an LSU uniform on him - he gets less publicity than Minter.

After last night (shitty tackling) i think id take Minter over Teo. If i recall, Minter has as good or better stats in everything except INTs which is how Teo got noticed.
That being said, i dont think either fit the Saints needs at OLB.

Lol it was me who started a thread about getting him. I was just curious about everyones opinion. I knew that this game would show his "true potential" haha and boy did it ever. That Alabama team that they played last night is as close as a team to NFL talent that they have played all year, and it showes that T'eo will just not show up in the NFL. He will be a decent LB at bets, but he has a bigger potential to be an overhyped bust.
But he does have a sweet name haha
