It seems like it's always been the case. That said, Randolph is better than anything I see at FQ Fest.

No doubt, but you'd think they'd not be stubborn and just do it on a different weekend to get more people to attend.

Ha. Yeah by a couple years, but when a free music fest the same weekend in nola is drawing over 500,000 people, you might want to pick another weekend. While I agree Robert Randolph would be a show I would like to see at a free festival in BR, I'm not staying in BR that weekend. Eta: Since he will be in the area, maybe FQF could grab him in Fri or Sunday.

Havent seen Robert Randolph in ages; might actually be nice to leave the crowds of FQF for the relative peace and quiet of BR.

To each his own. I really don't give a shite about FQF, so it's easy to stay in BR and enjoy better music.

Well, Blues Fest tends to have better music, which is the part that I care about.

I don't own Big Head's, I was just mentioning it because I never hear anything about it on here and it's a pretty cool place with good artists, mainly blues. Gregg Wright played at the Red Dragon a few weeks ago
