I play bo2 search n destroy pretty much and the amount of whites that feel liberated because they are behind a Mic and hidden surely love calling a black person a n..... Seems to be the popular thing...then it becomes a bombardment of slave this or that with food stamps blah blah...u get the picture and I'm sure if u play b.o. then u may have already heard this kind of stuff....
...these cowards are hiding behind a mic would never say this type of stuff to a black male on neutral ground in person....so what is their reasons for doing this type of racism ?.....I play with black friends on the game and its ridiculous and kinda funny how these people show that they r obvious cowards by attacking a persons color behind a Mic like it empowers them or something lol....
For the record , I am white ....

Plus I refuse to be offended by someone on the internet or by someone using such an ancient term.

I generally do the mute all option. Haven't really played S&D on this game though.
I actually state the opposite though. I run into a majority of black guys that mouth off. They just catch the mute button. That's all.
Granted you can get suspended for being reported enough evidently. A friend of mine kept cussing at people and got a month ban on MW3.

I agree that blacks r talking smack too but I am more concerned with whites and how they react and what they say...
Just use mute when people talk smack but many have fun and joke around too...

i agree.
the problem is the user base. Mostly kids.
With the amount of kill cams per match and general intensity involved, plus the fact you can "Mute everyone except party", they feel the need to say the most offensive shite for more attention
i just ignore it or laugh, treat it like a movie/tv show. why get mad or offended over words

Contrary....many adults in their 30's and 40's play the game and they straight start telling a 12 yr old all this racial stuff....its crazy all because they got slapped...then it becomes.not about the game anymore and it gets really annoying....esp when u play with black.friends and ur white and ur fellow Idiot white brothers and sisters are taking verbal killshots at blacks for nothing....

It's a competitive game which leads to people talking smack. Obviously your real identity is anonymous thus the only thing that people know about you is your voice which gives away if you are white/black/burrito.

the black people I play with usually embrace these scenarios and diffuse the situation pretty quick. Obviously the person yelling the racist stuff wants the other person to freak out, if they don't freak out it usually confuses the attacker and they leave.
I would tell your friends to mute the other party or don't take them seriously.

This is what i miss about early EQ, your rep would make or break the game from a grouping standpoint. Along came WoW and barrens chat and shite has gone downhill since then.
