I know we have the best punter in the NFL, but couldn't we use his swag on special teams?
I mean, apparently the only players worth looking at in this year's Draft are from LSU, the same players the rant has spent all season bitching about. ST hates Harper, and you want to draft Reid? Seriously? Could you imagine Mathieu covering Calvin Johnson? Come on guys.

You are on "Tigerdroppings" a site that was made for LSU sports more or less. A lot of Saints fans are also Tiger fans and are familiar with both teams. Fans on this site are probably more familiar with LSU players (and SEC players) than someone from Western Michigan or UCLA or someone like that. I've seen Mingo way more than I've seen Hunt at SMU or Jordan or Oregon.
And LSU has three to four defensive players who will go in the first two rounds, if not the first. It's plausable for a Saints fan to want one of those players on this team.
I'd take Montgomery or Mingo to replace Will Smith and Eric Reid to replace Jenkins. Why wouldn't you? I think Minter will be a good NFL LBer, but we don't need him because we have Lofton.
If you don't want to talk about it, don't read it and don't start a thread about it.

Did I not make my sarcasm in the OP clear enough? Some of you got that. We've had should we draft whatever LSU player threads here non stop for the last month.
Of course I don't think we should draft Wing. W have the best freaking punter in the NFL. That's about as intelligent as some of the other nonsense posted on here.
But the thread about drafting Reid last week made me laugh. We have a safety with questionable cover skills, and you want to draft a safety with even more questionable cover skills?
And I'd love to say Sam Montgomery is going to be a stud. But I see a lot of Will Smith in him, especially with Sam going through stretches this season where you forgot he even existed. If. We are going to attempt to find a pass rusher to replace Smith, I'd rather it be someone who doesn't have concerns on how much effort you are going to get from him.
Take off the Purple and Gold glasses, folks.
