Vitt and Loomis returned to work the day after their suspension ended. No meeting, no clearance from the NFL. Why does Payton all of a sudden need approval to return to work when the other two did not?
The suspension ends after the Superbowl. If I were Payton, I would be in the practice facility the day after the Superbowl. frick Goodell!

Payton's suspension always needed a reinstatement by Goodell. His is different than Vitt's. In theory, he could never reinstate him.

Anytime I see Goodell's face on TV, a magazine/newspaper or a billboard, I will be wishing he could be caught snorting coke off some Peter puffer and just disappears out of humiliation.
