School tuition and taxes

If you withdraw from school and get all of your money back, can you still include it on your taxes? I would assume you can't.

If you are referring to 1098T, schools report one of two ways; either when you are charged for tuition or when you pay for tuition. You can contact the bursar office to get an explanation. Possible for you benefit one year and pay for it the next (tax wise).

You would assume correctly. That would be fraud.
