But, but, but she had called 911 and police were on the way to her house. She's supposed to be safe now that she's dialed the cops. Why did she think it necessary to shoot him? (Sarcasm meter alert for Senators Feinstein, Boxer, Congresswoman Pelosi, POTUS, Hillary, Sarah Brady, and all the rest)

Sounds like she handled it right to protect herself and her kids. How he survived 5 shots at close range is the part that amazes me.
Ultimately she stopped whatever attack he was prepared to unleash on her family, and that is all that matters here. She's a great American in my book.

Years ago, the former chief of Alaskas public safety department (retired because he had a girlfriend, and wife) was killed in his home by his girlfriend. His wife, hiding in the closet was on the phone for a really long time before she too was killed. It took 45 minutes for the police to show up due to some problem with their equipment and finding the house..
