WASHINGTON -- Sen. Harry Reid told the Senate floor on Friday that Hurricane Katrina was "nothing in comparison" to Hurricane Sandy.
"The people of New Orleans in that area, they were hurt," said Reid, the Democratic majority leader. "But nothing in comparison to what happened to the people in New England."

I remember in coverage of the Sandy aftermath I kept seeing segments about people lining up at places where they could charge their iPhones. Oh the terror!

did the majority of New York get flooded? Where thousands of people trapped in houses buildings and a stadium? Did your main sports arena get so damaged it displaced your team for a year? Did thousands of people die because of flood waters?
no Reid just doesn't understand hurricanes.

The rest of the nation has already forgotten about Sandy. This is merely a scare tactic to keep it on the front lines, just like Sandy Hook, IMO.
Reid, Pelosi, Obama, Biden, and the rest of their like all have a special place in hell reserved for them.

the link above shows overhead images of the devastation caused by Katrina. When you look at some of the coastal towns in Mississippi it amazing how big that storm surge was.
