Ummm...yeah, it kinda does matter.

Haha, I bet even OJ will tell you he has received earthly punishment since the day he was arrested. There has been, and continues to be, plenty of earthly punishment. Kafka, I know not what you speak of.

Later in his life, he lost his insulation as he became less needed. He didn't just wake up and murder. But he was OJ. Something that was his was taken. He decided if he couldn't have her, nobody would have her. But he had been a thug his whole life.
Hate to admit, but I found If I Did It at the Dollar Tree and picked it up (all proceeds go to the Goldmans and Browns) and read it. She was getting to be a pain in his ass: divorced him, but stalked him,and every time he got a new girl, she started harassing them and trying to split them up. Then she'd do shite like say, "I love you and we should get back together." He'd fall for it, then find her banging so other dude. With the kids, there was no way for him to be rid of her, save killing her. I think when he stopped by the house and found Goldman knocking the bottom out of it, he went nuts. In that book, he's pretty much admitting to the murder, so I don't see why he would be lying about it.

Narcissistic sociopath whose psychological shortcomings were fed and nurtured over a lifetime which lead to double murder when in a jealous rage. Then, he gets away with murder despite overwhelming evidence, which further feeds his psychological shortcomings.

I don't think anybody in the world believes he's innocent. There are a few that defend him for strictly racial purposes. But no one actually believes he's innocent.

So basically he was a fricking moron and kept falling for her bs? I don't believe him at all. Sounds to me he is just spinning the story to get some sympathy for killing 2 people. It appears to have worked with you.

Yep. And despite what Caplewood says, OJ's life was made to be miserable by 90% of society after the trial, despite the not guilty verdict. His punishment was by no means just, but he was, and continues to be punished daily.

I guess I just see life in prison/death penalty as far worse than having people talk shite about you

Oh, yeah .. His own kids believe he killed their mother and got away with it .. That must be fun for him to deal with .. But, he's in prison now .. The earliest he gets out is 2016 .. He'll be 69 years old and still publicly persecuted daily ..

What part of my post sounds like I have any sympathy for him? The OP asked why he flipped and I relayed the story he told in his book.

Seemed like you "understood" why he did it. Like I said before I don't believe him. I think he was a jealous frick who couldn't believe she didn't want him anymore.

If so, that wasn't intended. He killed her because he's a murderer and knew he could use his money and fame to get away with it. I don't think the cops "framed" him, but the idiots did tinker with the evidence in a case where the main suspect was obviously guilty. I'd ask why cops were so stupid, but there's no need to repeat myself.
