He probably will not want to even look at that when he isn't in a military environment. You should give it to me, instead.
I love breaking down, cleaning and putting together weapons anytime. Made a day of drill at the armory and helped clean the 249 SAWs. Barely used the weapon and went thru the process like second hand. So peaceful.

Marines need to know 23 things and Navy needs to know 15? Only thing I can figure. Those articles are probably just about pay and bennies, so I really have no idea. edit-answered

I understand. I would love to get my hands on one now. Not so much when I was in the Military and cleaning them on a daily basis.

Capitalize "Marines" in your title! I'm sure your son will teach you that. 315 is his total from Table 1 (250 pts. from known distance) and Table 2 (100 pts. from field firing.) It's not incredibly difficult. I would estimate that more than 25% of recruits initially qualify as experts due to the high level of coaching and instruction they receive during grass week and qual week. Re-quals in the fleet should prove to be more difficult. Was he at Stone Bay or Edson Range?

This isn't a Military board, which means you aren't in charge. Your whole post comes off as you being an arrogant prick. I'm not saying that you are, it's just how you came across to me.

Aww.. it's cute. They can't help that shite. It's a training block in the Corps. They teach them that right after they teach them about Chesty Puller and the "head".

Basic is the easiest time you will shoot. Several reasons. We shot without flak vests during basic, and while wearing it every time since. As hit on here it's easier for people who have never shot before because they don't have bad tendencies developed.

The coolest Marine I ever worked with was a grunt. The biggest "ooh-rah" a-hole was a generator mechanic. I suspect that is true throughout the branches. edit- this actually has nothing to do with your quote. I'm drunk and outa here.

Moot point. The wrong reasons are the same things that create bad cops.

Oh okay, I have been lightly considering enlisting. Are wrong reasons job security, personal accomplishment, location change?

Not in the least, I could add a few things to that, which have nothing to do with just wanting to serve your Country. I think you can figure out what the wrong reasons are, if you think about it.
