Montgomery gone too according to tahj jones. He is at lauberge in LC spreading this as we speak. Even though I dont believe it is surprising.

On the one hand I hate to see talent leave even though I'd do the same if I had a chance to play in the NFL.
But on the other hand, all these players leaving for the NFL is good because it further proves that playing for LSU is a good path to the NFL, and that is good for recruiting.

I believe that this will be a good thing for us. Here's why...
Those that get drafted high will show that LSU is a good place to fast track your route to the NFL.
But... There are a few leaving early that are making big mistakes and will be drafted very very late rounds. They may noy even make a team. This will keep others from making the same mistake in the future.
Overall. I think it will work out just fine.

I was expecting loston back next year. That sucks. Our D is going to be suspect with all these defections.
Same for Copeland if he goes, even if his hot head cost us big vs Bama.
