| Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich (Posted on 1/5/13 at 4:06 pm)
Well I went to a funeral, a soccer game, visit a friend in the hospital and a 90 minute walk around the lakes. Have a pot of lima beans with hambone on the stove and a pot roasting chicken in the oven for dinner. I decided I wanted a snack. Whole Foods fresh grind peanut butter and grape jelly on fresh white Bunny bread with an ice cold glass of milk. Man it's been a long time and it is good. I'm a big fan of WF peanut butter because it's no sugar. All the commercial brands are just too sweet for me.

We made our own batch of peanut butter, and mixed it with my Nana's homemade mayhal jam!!! That's a combo that can't be beat!

He's probably eating a Swanson Hungry Man Kobe Salsbury steak dinner now. I'm eating another PB and J and watching this crappy game.

And I just squeezed about an inch of Hershey's syrup in my second glass of milk.

It's good to be full. I posted about a peanut butter recall a couple months ago. He said he didn't care because he isn't 12 years old. Whatevs. This game is weak. PB and J with milk in the middle of the night is the best.

Back and forth from the game to the LPB breakfast show... I've seen this before, but I can watch this again. Better than Bengals/Texans..

You should try that on your next sandwich with the PB. Or throw some srirachi sauce or jalapenos on the PBnJ.

One of my favorite sandwiches is the following: WF or similar non sweetened PB on both slices of bread Banana slices cut long ways, flat side facing the center, with a few sprinkles of sugar to add some texture. Wash down with cold milk of course

I am a HUGE PB&J fan. I don't use any type of natural peanut butter though. I also like cheap peach preserves. PB&J on a nice wheat bread with nuts and grains in it is the shit!

I love a PB & J with some of my home made scuppernong or muscadine jelly! Fresh Derst's bread in my part of the world- made in Savannah.

Sounds delicious to me. I've been getting freshly ground almond butter at Rouses, no sugar added. When I'm being good, I have almond butter on banana. When I'm cheating, it's almond butter on saltines. Being good is not an easy thing.
