Only shitty thing is he is cup tied for the Champions League. Still would be a good signing, though I'm skeptical it will happen. We need immediate help. And he can play all across the front line. Hopefully he can contribute for the next couple of seasons.

Some talk about Jack Butland to Fulham. My impression was he would eventually go to one of the big clubs, but I don't know that much about him. He's being "rested" today, although I'm not sure that means much Fulham-wise as it's pretty much assumed he's going somewhere this window.
If it did happen I wonder if Stockdale would move to Birmingham.

It's ridiculous. Not only do they not need him, they will just begin making things harder for themselves regarding squad choices. Buying just to buy.
They need to put that money towards a holding mid or young LB.

I can see it, if you just mean no CL... obviously if we go down the toilet and finish out of the top ten, it would be probably next to impossible..
I like how Suarez called him and congratulated him, after they beat City in CL... we just need to keep him and Agger in his ear..

You never know, Suarez came here with no CL and more important, remained here...
When I read his interviews it seems like playing and developing is most important to him... If we can convince him BRs style of play (similar to the 4-3-3 at Ajax) and a jump to the EPL is the next logical step, you never know...
For years, it seemed like Arsenal was the team from the EPL that a lot of kids from the continent admired, for their style of play... Hopefully, we can develop that here...
Anyway, here's to a good match tomorrow.. looking forward to seeing some of DS

I think it would have a year left come the summer... and he has been reluctant to extend it up to this point..
Still cant we believe we got Suarez for £22 only two years ago, when you look at what we've spent since then...

Balague says Villa isn't going anywhere in January. Might be sold in the summer. He's reporting Wenger called Villa 3 weeks ago to check in on his situation.
