I saw that about locating the holes but mines very visible on the top of my boot. Locating it isn't the issue, it's patching it since its on the rubber and not the neoprene.

if I am understanding you, the hole is on the top of the foot part of the boot and the material is rubber...if that is correct, then use a regular tire patch...looks like hell, but a tire patch is by far the most effective repair method for rubber boots...
if you don't want to buy the shite (it is cheap) and do it yourself, just bring it to a tire shop...when they finish laughing, you will have a damn good repair job...
