Who comes in and starts as a freshman, and at what spot?

IMO, The D line will be roatated. Different guys may start at any time, they will be awesome. Herron, Gilmore, Beckwith, could all likely start at any given time. Rashard Robinson could start at CB and Cutrer could start at Safety.

This was my initial reaction. But White has a shot with T. Simon leaving. Other than that, maybe Smith comes in at TE?

It's a valid question. We have some talent moving on to the next level and we have had key contributions from some true frosh players over the past 4 years.

No true freshmen will start Seriously, which commit would start over someone already on the roster? TWhite has a chance if he balls out, but thats a long shot with the Jalens and who we redshirted this year as well Herron and Gilmore could see some snaps, but are raw and there are plenty of guys ahead of him..same case with a couple other dudes /thread

History doesn't seem to agree with your statement. We are losing more on defense this year than we have over the past 3 seasons and you say that not one true freshman will start when we had two start on that side this season.

I was speaking on defense. I do agree with smith getting significant time early though.

Smith is definitely going to be a contributor...as well as some others in this class next year He offers something we dont have right now But i just dont see someone on the DL starting over Rasco Hunter (Logan) Freak or Ego...do yall? And same with the secondary...we have the two sophomore Jalens with a year under their belt and some redshirts. And then Loston and a gang a safety. I could see TWhite and Cutrer contributing but not necessarily starting if everyones starting..maybe tre, maybe

What do you see in cutrer that suggests he is capable of jumping Martin and Thompson as a true freshman? I am excited about those two.
