Exactly. Also you miles haters love to discredit the 2011 SEC title. Which is the only title that you can't get VOTED INTO. There is never any debate about the SEC title. Why? Because you play your way into it. Since the creation of the SEC TITLE GAME, their has never been any questions asked about , " did the right teams get in. Was there a more deserving team?" Because the SEC title is won on the field and isn't clouded by bias.

No it's common sense arse mouth. You can start a powerhouse with 2-3 good recruiting classes. To MAINTAIN A POWERHOUSE , you need 7-10 good recruiting classes. But I wouldn't expect dumb asses like you , who know shite about CFB to know this. Which is harder to do? Finish in the top 5 for two years in a row or finish in the top 10 for a decade? God our fan base is ignorant.

from the last 5 seasons
Miles started in 05 and LSU leads all BCS programs in wins in the 8 yrs hes been here. I'm cool with that. LSU is also 49-19 in the SEC which leads all SEC programs since 05. I'm cool with that. LSU has 34 wins since 2010 which is tied for 3th among BCS schools. I'm cool with that. LSU is 21-5 in the SEC since 2010 which is the most wins in the conference. I'm cool with that. If you have a want to see that as "eating crumbs", knock yourself out. Me...I say as an LSU football fan I've never before had such a wonderful 5-star meal at the LSU fan dining table.

You were snoozing or freshening your drink when Mett tossed that long one to Landry well inside Clemson's 10 and overthrew him by inches? Or perhaps you failed to notice our patchwork O line was allowing our lead footed QB about a millisecond on many passing plays thereby not allowing him the time to toss one bomb after another?

Na Bruh. It's not good enough. So what that in 2011 LSU bent the entire SEC over and went in dry. It's not good enough that just 13 months ago LSU was taking mercy knees against the #3 team in all of CFB. It's not good enough that we beat more ranked teams than anyone in 75 fricking years. WE DEMAND THAT EVERY YEAR. NOT ONLY THAT , WE DEMAND OUR SPECIAL TEAMS TO SUCK , SO THAT WE ALWAYS GO 80 YARDS ON OUR OFFENSIVE DRIVES. Also , if our qb so much as acts like he is gonn throw an incompletion , fire that piece of shite head coach that recruited that bum.

Are you fricking serious???? Just how do you expect to get those 2-3 powerhouse worthy recruiting classes? fricking Pee Wee Herman as coach is gonna start doing the tequila song and athletes gonna start lining up from all over the country!!! Seriously, if you haven't coached in college football, you have no damn business assuming anything about it. Dinardo had some good recruiting classes, where was his power house? Zook had 3 years of Florida recruiting, where was his power house? He got fired after 3 years of good recruiting and under achieving.

If LSU beats who they are supposed to beat, 10 wins is within sight every year. I give Miles credit for putting LSU in that position, but winning 10 games for a team of LSU's talent isn't awesome. It's about where they should be.
This rings true to me. Early in Miles tenure, his gambles and wackiness worked and he was able to effectively continue to build on what was started when Saban was here. The last few years have been uninspired with the exception of the 2011, which was an overwhelming success to begin, but began feeling ominous to me towards the end of the season as our offensive philosophy and performance began to change, which resulted in a huge let down in the national championship game where we were embarrassed as opposed to being the toast of college football, wherein it could have gone either way before the start of the game. Some support Miles decisions to go more conservative that year, but others have major issues with personnel and game-planning decisions that were made. The coaching this year was mostly uninspired and despite injuries, LSU had arguably an average year at best. The state of the program now appears to me to be coasting. It's not getting better and it's not getting worse. With solid recruiting, conservative game planning and an excellent defense, LSU should remain well within the top-half of the SEC. My issue is that with the excellent recruiting and defensive coaching, winning 8-10 games isn't enough and those wtf moments that appear to happen in all close games recently suggest that Miles is in over his head on the offensive side of the ball. I hope that Miles is adaptable enough to address these issues if they are in fact issues, which I believe to be the case. Maybe it's just personnel, injuries, and lack of execution on the players side that cost us an excellent season this year, but I believe that this relates more to numerous coaching mistakes.

Thanks I know what happened in the game.

I don't try to discredit anything but beating someone by 13 or 20 points if Oregon didn't score late is not what I would call an arse kicking or in your case a "curb stomp" Miles does enough weird and stupid crap on a regular basis I don't have to aid him in anyway.

Yes, Les is ultimately responsible for the offense but the OC is responsible for the scheme. We need a new OC or nothing will change I can promise you that. LSU is too predictable under our current OC.

The fact that people actually believe this is the reason why Miles can get away with it. Crowton was a scapegoat, Stud will be another.

Yeah, it's not like crowton had a history of one great year and then turning offense into a dumpster fire. Oh wait, he did.

And will hire someone to fit the current mold. An OC change isn't going to excite me unless it's someone who has some autonomy.

Take a look at our offensive stats under Crowton, then compare them to every year since he has been gone. If the years under Crowton were a dumpster fire, then what the holy hell is this???? And Crowton had plenty of great years at La Tech. He had the #1 offense in the country. Your BYU comparison is weak but you want to believe it so you don't have to face the truth. Deny, defend, attack! And keep pumping that sunshine!

Then why did Miles hire him? Something happened in '09 and Miles is now firmly in control of the offensive schemes. The offense changed dramatically.

So Miles made an irrational reaction to Lee throwing INT's in '08? Shocking. Freshman Lee has been gone for 4 years. It's time to have a functional offense again.

Will see if the staff has the desire to ramp it up. Defense will be down next year and the offense will have to be more productive.
