No... but I've had to do it somebody before. It was for his own good - We were NOT on the same page. I felt shitty. It went something like this.
(front doorstep)
Him: I love you.
Me: I have to go inside now.
 WHY did he put me in that posiiton!?!?

Nope. Other than my dad of course. Encouragement, positivity, and emotional support are pretty frowned upon in Arkansas.

I didn't reciprocate when someone said they loved me. He is now married to one of my friends.

My fiancé started saying I love you after about a month. I said thank you until six months in. Worked out for us though.

My grandmother (the one that raised me). It was when I was leaving from the hospital the last time before she died. She didn't say anything, just looked at me. To this day I have no idea what it meant and guess i never will.
