Well you kinda proved my point. You said "a new idiot" instead of "new idiots". A board on a site this big should have more new people coming in than one or two a week.

Your example shows lots of people who joined in the past 2 years posting in this thread. You are disproving your point even on a such ridiculously small sample size.

I don't know if that is necessarily the case. I came here as a new poster knowing exactly what to expect. The main thing that keeps me from posting is that the site is just a bit too busy, which makes it hard to just casually stay involved in topics. You post in a thread and a couple hours later it is on page 3. You either have to spend a fair amount of time here to follow up with your posts, or work too hard to follow up later. I prefer slower boards in which the day's topics remain on page 1 for a day or so, and real discussion occurs.

Every since I've been on, TD had always been on top of every story LSU or otherwise. I always came here first for news.

Actually this is something I've been watching for a while now. In each thread I look to see who is posting and how long they have been here. And I have noted that in virtually every thread there are is a predominance of posters who have been here 2+ years.
And once again, I'm not trying to turn this in a pro or con noob thing, people will have their own opinion pro or con and there is nothing that I or anyone else can say that will change it. Rather it's just an observation.

I started posting in December 2002 and traffic was steady. More people started posting after the lair went to pay sight around that same time.
The site was around for a few years prior and most of the posters were friends or family of chicken and circus with the one exception of _______.
