I don't understand, about a year ago everytime Chris would open his mouth - the right wingers on this board panties would get wet - what has done to get you folks all in a tissy - since then?

I think it had something to do with the photo ops/hugging the President/caring about his state and its residents during the Hurricane.

Republicans are one step from 'scorched earth' policy at the moment:
- Frick Liberals
- Frick the poor
- Frick the Middle Class
- Frick women, gays, Latinos, blacks (really, frick blacks), Muslims, Chinese, all of Europe even though that's where we came from
- Frick healthcare, welfare, Sesame Street

.... -Frick everyone but the rich, because they are the most hardworking, most principled, and most deserving of everything on the planet, and everyone else is lazy, leeching, mooching POS's. Let em burn!

Sorry, the GOP is beyond irrelevant at this point. The smartest and brightest need to form a new party before they get swallowed in also

re: WSJ to Chris Christie
This type of resentment and squabbling in the party will continue to sink us.

Christie is VERY electable...Christ, they were praising him with a cameo on SNL the other week...any Presidential candidate that is not at odds with the MSM we should give consideration.

Personally I, as well as many other moderate leaning Repubs and Indys, have been a fan of him for a while. Actually I am much more of a fan the way he handled Sandy and wasn't afraid to swim upstream through bi-partisan waters. He knew he would take heat for being cordial and thanking Obama, and he didn't care. He was doing what was in the best interest of the state he governs. Good for him. The hell with the rest of the crazy loons in OUR party.

Completely agree. Christie is very, very electable. He would easily win states like Ohio, which are full of factory tough guys who have nothing in common with HRC.

re: WSJ to Chris Christie
The only way I vote third party in 2016 is if Christie is the nominee. That's my opinion pre-Sandy btw.

You truly are a headline consuming, vacuous Useful idiot. Congratulations on a demonstration of a simpleton's view of Republican political philosophy.

Very well said...

If the party will return to prominence, it will only do so with gutsy leadership and standing up to people within the party who spew garbage like this. I'm ready to make this element realize they have to come around, or GTFO
