It would seem hard to start a message board in the early stages. How many posters were there in the first month? Etc.

I signed in on Jan 2007 just before the NC game and traffic was heavy here then.

One thing I've noticed is it looks like the site, at least the OT where I stay most of the time, has stopped growing. Look at the majority of the threads and you will see mostly people who have been here 2+ years with rather high post counts. Very little, if any, new blood coming in.

Traffic in season was decent back in 05 and 06. Summer time was extremely slow back then

It wasn't nearly as busy when I joined and there wasn't as much trolling, which to me was a good thing.

Most posts come from people with high post counts, thats why they have high post counts lol. Also u dont recognize the new blood so u dont remember their posts

I spent my first week here on the SECR. They actually had a thread about being scared to come over here.. TBH, most of them should stay where they are. That place is a looney bin.

I think you are wrong here. The subset of this site that is the OT gets its posters mainly as people that wonder over from the SEC and Tiger Rants or when new, high profile news stories break.
I looked on the first page and it seemed that at least 5 or 6 of the 20 threads were started by posters who had been here 2 years or less.
