First of all, your post is not a discussion, as you've already made up your mind.
Discussion can be 2 sides presenting their points.
My points were made towards the greater point of the meme.
That said, look at plays like Copeland completely whiffing a block Monday night that got an easy sack. Or at all the dropped passes this season. And that's the easy stuff for fans to see. We don't know on many plays, where someone missed an assignment.
But if it is a problem that has been consistent for multiple groups of personnel, then it isn't the personnel. . .unless we are just recruiting idiots.
The problem is the shifting blame.
-QB play in general
-Over-committing to playing upperclassmen
We should now understand these are symptoms of the problem.
Ultimately we have a problem with execution and predictability, that is all true. The GREATER issue is that we have displayed these problems consistently.
How do we fix the greater problem?
Replacing personnel HAS NOT WORKED. Knowing this we can surmise one fact: The personnel is not the problem
To me the bigger concern is player development, especially on the OL
Our OC is an OL guy. So is our HC.
Will they magically begin to develop talent going forward? Do they know how?
They should, it's the position that both know the most intimately.
