Love this show. I had showtime for the first one or two seasons. Then watched 3 and 4 on DVD. I've been saying for a while now that I need to catch up. How is it from season 5 on? Should I go back and re watch the earlier seasons or just pick up from where I left off? Please no spoilers.

5 is kind of weak but you start to see more of Dex's human compassion side. 6 is pretty damn good getting back to season 1 and 2 formula. 7 was awesome as well except for Deb.

Season 5 sucks compared to the other seasons. 6 was solid and this newest season was awesome
