Yeah, he's quite a prospect. Palermo didn't think he was quite ready and now that they're looking to bring in couple of players to keep safe of the regulation zone they may be willing to sell. Zamparini is completely looney and so you really never know with them until the papers are signed.

I've never seen him out wide, he's a cam/cm. that isn't to say he can't, but I doubt that's what he'd be brought in for. I'm not so sure he'll end up at spurs, guess we'll have to wait and see

I like him as a prospect. Essien is probably a pretty good comparison to his style of play.
However, he's pretty raw even for 20 and seems much more a project than someone who's ready to step into a top club and play right away.
When I've seen him, he's tried to rely way too much on his dribbling in midfield (which is pretty good by the way). Again though, his ball skills are excellent for a DM and just needs to take a step forward reading the game.
He's on loan from Palermo to Parma as he wasn't deemed ready for the first team there and with the way Palermo's struggling that says something. Also he hasn't gotten all that many starts for Parma.
Still, I can certainly see why Arsene would be interested as he could well develop into an excellent defensive mid with superior ball skills that would suit Arsenal well.
I would doubt Palermo really wants to sell him now (instead of a few years down the road) but they may need some funds to re-tool a bit to avoid being caught in a relegation battle?
