Edit: One actor only.
Maybe Jimmy Stewart? Samuel L Jackson just out of sheer volume? Henry Fonda has a ton of movies as well. DeNiro, Bogart.
Maybe somebody with a little smaller catalog like Jack Nicholson, Brad Pitt or Gregory Peck.
Then an even smaller like DiCaprio.
Odd fact, Toshiro Mifune was/has been in more movies than Sam Jackson. His top movies can compete with worst anybody's.
Henry Fonda and Mifune have my two favorite genres down, with westerns and samurai, but they don't have any from my favorite director in Hitchcock.
He's not even my favorite actor, and wasn't in my two or three favorite Hitchcock films,I feel like Jimmy Stewart might have the most well rounded selection. Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, It's a Wonderful Life, Rope, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, Vertigo, The Man Who Knew Too Much, Rear Window. That'll keep me sane I think.
No tv btw.
Edit2: If you want you can select just one comedic actor. Try and keep it a pretty much strictly comedic guy if that's possible.

I wouldn't be upset with DeNiro, Bale, DiCaprio, Nicholson...
I'm sure I can think of a ton more. Comedy would be tough since so many comedic actors fall out over time. Probably early Steve Martin.

shite I could choose John Belushi so I could re watch Animal House constantly, Chris Farley to re watch his stuff. Bill Murray for Caddy Shack.
Damn I may even consider Will Ferrell for Old School. I just feel like I'd need to go comedy
I'm going Bill Murray for comedy.
If not Comedy I think I'd go Dicaprio bc he's been in a lot of different types of movies, and he'll probably make 30 more before he's done

Probably came off wrong, I was really wanting just one actor. No biggie though but EDIT YOUR POST!
Having a separate comedy actor is a good idea.

I'd go with Boris Karloff. He was in a shite load of movies and most were old school horror flicks which are my personal favorite. The Mummy, Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstien, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Mad Mad Monster Party ect.

The answer here is to choose some character actor that isn't famous, but has been in 100+ movies. That way you'll have a huge catalog from which to choose.

The common answer would be Meryl Streep I would say.
But I'd have to choose in a toss up of Vivien Leigh, Grace Kelly (based off Dial M For Murder <possibly my favorite movie of all time> and High Noon), and Sandra Bullock. God I love me some Two Weeks Notice.
