A Clarkstown police report issued on December 28, 2012, confirmed that The Journal News has hired armed security guards from New City-based RGA Investigations and that they are manning the newspaper’s Rockland County headquarters at 1 Crosfield Ave., West Nyack, through at least tomorrow, Wednesday, January 2, 2013.
According to police reports on public record, Journal News Rockland Editor Caryn A. McBride was alarmed by the volume of “negative correspondence,” namely an avalanche of phone calls and emails to the Journal News office, following the newspaper’s publishing of a map of all pistol permit holders in Rockland and Westchester.
Due to apparent safety concerns, the newspaper then decided to hire RGA Investigations to provide armed personnel to man the location.

Hahahaha funny thing is I hope these Progressive idiots shite themsleves everyday when they hear a noise. Maybe at the grocery store and somone looks at them menacingly, I hope they lose sleep wondering about an unfamiliar car in the neighborhood, or panic when their kid door bell rings, fricking idiots.

Why do these same people complaining about this paper ignore the fact that their side always outs union locations, abortion clinic locations, and anti-war protest rallies complain about the other side exposing the locations of armed citizens or militias?
You never hear the other side bitching about conservative papers exposing their opposition's locales.

I'd be more pissed off at the paper if I was a non gun owner.
This map now is a burglars road map of where to and where not to rob. I'd love to see a burglary map next year.
