Absolutely. I'm fortunate that I got to see him play for roughly 10 years. He obviously played at a very high level, but made it look so damn easy. He and the Say Hey kid are two of my all time favorites.

The highlight of him throwing a ball from deep right to third on a line is still one of the more impressive baseball highlights I've ever seen.

I've read the stories on the humanitarian work and obviously aware of the baseball skills. Would've loved to see him play

That and he could go from 1st to 3rd or 2nd to home quicker than anybody I saw at the time. Long, effortless strides. What an athlete who unfortunately was taken from us too damn early.

Clemente, Jeff Bagwell and Larry Walker are three of the best baserunning "big men" in history imo. Each were efficient and smart on the basepaths.

I wore #21 in HS in honor of Clemente, which was much more of an honor for me than it was him...

My favorite baseball player of all time. Not only did I sport #21,so did my son and now my daughter. 5 tool player on the field, and proud humanitarian off.

Larry lost more than a few steps late in his career with the Rockies. That or the thin air finally caught up with him.

I, too, wore #21 in honor of Roberto during my high school playing career. I wanted #21 for college too, but it was taken. Roberto had the greatest throwing arm in the history of the game, imo. I still to this day think baseball should retire #21 throughout the MLB to honor Roberto for all he did for Latin ball players. RIP Great One
