Hey Peej, hope you are doing ok. Sorry for your loss. Like I posted before...my parents lost almost everything almost 5 years ago(New Year's Day 2008) and they were just kinda out of it for a couple days afterwards. It was a rough time for our family but good things came from it actually. Keep your chin up

Well I was nice to you in the miscarriage thread, even though I had more choice words, since you know what it's like to go through that.
I pick and choose the situation and go with what applies. But if I seem nicer at night (not sure if serious?) who knows, it's the morning for me so i'm not as tired.

Years ago after my Dad had a stroke while at their place in Florida, my folks never went back to the home in Staten Island. My sister used to go over and check on the house and one day when she went over durig the winter she saw water coming out of the top floor. The pipes had burst and the floors of the house collapsed from the to to the basement.
The insides of the house were destroyed along with most of the contents. We lost a lot of stuff from photos, things from our childhood, Civil War antiques, just about everything. While it is upsetting, we got over it and so will you.
Be thankful that everyone got out of your place OK.

I appreciate that. I don't know why, and it seems weird, but that one actually touched me. Maybe it hit so close to home. Maybe because it was true.
I don't know. I look back and hate myself for how I dealt with it. I just didn't know how to process it. I was numb.

I have a theory that the moon and sun affect our personalities, subtly, but still they have an impact. Perhaps it's one of the reasons that nightwalkers are a little...off.
