So, towards the end of the movie, Catwoman shoots Bane with the cannon on the batcycle. So why didn't somebody try that sooner? It's not like he was wearing body armor.... I actually thought this several times while watching.

I don't know, but I thought this scene was so anti-climactic.
All of that drama and destruction and BAM, he's done, moving on.

How exactly were they going to get through the entire army Bane had created? The only reason Batman and Selina were able to even get close to Bane was because the police were released and distracted Bane's followers.

Pretty much. But, after viewing the movie about 3-4 times, there are other things that really bug me, but I'll keep my peace for now.

Question: at the end, when Morgan freeman is having these guys check the autopilot, was that the helicopter that batman crashed with the bomb?
I remember in the beginning the autopilot issue was brought up and I thought that was on the heli.

It fit perfectly with Bat's aversion to "final" options, and Selena's lack of devotion to that philosophy (noted twice in the film, including when she dispatches Bane).
Contrary to many, I liked that scene.

I understand and like it in that sense, but I just think it's aw weak death for how awesome a villain Bane was.

They needed the trigger man, once the trigger man was revealed, we didn't need Bane anymore.

why'd Batman let Talia tell her life story while sticking a knife in his side with one hand, while fixing Bane's mask with the other? I'd have beaten that bitch all over the place. and kicked Bane's mask a few more times in the process.

The batman I kniow an love would of grabbed the knife an told her I know who u are. Nolan made Batman look like a 3rd grader  I like the movie but somethings did not sit well with me.

I didn't watch the move until last week with lowered expectations because of this board.
Absolutely love it. Possibly my favorite batman movie. All about expectations.

It was the plane thing he took off in. Earlier Morgan Freeman mentioned that there were some kinks that needed to be worked out with the auto pilot so at the end he was told that auto pilot was being used when the plane crashed he smiled because he knew that Wayne had fixed it.

As much as I love BB and TDK, I cant bring myself to rewatch this. I dont want to invest 3 hours of my time. Can anyone who thought it was only MEH the first time they watched it, thought it was better the second?
