Dark Knight Rises Question

Do I need to watch the previous one before I watch it? I've seen it but it has been awhile.

No. It shows a couple clips from the last one.

re: Dark Knight Rises Question
I think the bigger question is how are you just now watching this film?

Kids got it from Santa Clause. I hardly ever go to the movies.

re: Dark Knight Rises Question
If anything you might want to watch Batman Begins. A lot more references to that than the Dark Knight

Sorry. I mean, do I need to watch the Dark Knight before I watch The Dark Knight Rises.

You will benefit from it if you do. It isn't necessary but the acclaim for the movies are warranted.
