Let me put it this way, there's a reason that the Varsity hasn't had any sort of "hip hop" night in a VERY long time!

Gotcha. I wasn't 100% sure what it was.
Only way they make it any amout of time is by charging high cover charges and having security out the ass.

I don't understand why people say it will turn into a warzone. It's not in a bad part of town. Yes, lots of blacks will go. But Why will it be a warzone? Am I missing something? Celebration station isn't far from there, and it was never a warzone when I went.

There are countless other businesses in that area that don't get the "war zone" designation. I'm guessing its because of the black ownership and the type of place. I could see loitering being a problem if a cover charge isn't taken and the parking lot has no security.
I wish them well. I don't see why people want to see this place fail. Local investors putting money back in to the economy.
