The Republicans want the Bush Tax Cuts for 100% of the working people. The Democrats want the Bush Tax Cuts for 98% of the working people.
Has there ever been a government policy that is this bipartisan and receives so much support from both parties?
Wow, that darn Bush...I tell ya, the guy probably didn't realize how popular his tax legislation would ever become.

The Dems love the Bush Tax Cuts almost as much as the Republicans. The Dems just don't believe the "rich" deserve them. The rich need to be punished for being successful. The rich are the bad guys. They can't play in the Bush Tax Cut sandbox anymore.

If the tax cuts are to end, they should end for everybody. The dems are being pathetic little hacks with this 2% shite.
It shows they care more about the political aspect than the economic aspect of it, since a raise on the 2% will do absolute shite about the deficits.

They (the Dems in charge) want the Bush Tax Cuts to end. The 2% bull shite is just cover to go over the cliff. In reality they want the tax increases on everyone. What they don't want are the spending cuts that comes with the cliff.

Also funny how Obama declares that the expiration of the tax cuts for one group will cause a recession, while ending them for another group is a non-negotiable key to saving America.
