So I posted a thread a week ago about doing a series rewatch with my roommate who has never seen it, and we've just finished season 1. Needless to say, roomie is hooked. I'm sure this has been done before but a search of the board and my post history didn't help much. Just wanted to get everyone's take since I'm kinda back in "lost mode" again.
It's been years since I watched the whole series, that I honestly can't say how I would rank them. I do remember being in love with 1 and 2 from start to finish. I remember loving the finale of 6 and liking 6 ok. I think I was lukewarm on 3. I can't really remember enough about 4 and 5 to say how I would rank them.

I just recently finished 3. Agree with your thoughts on the first 3 seasons, I'll probably finish them eventually but the 3rd killed some interest for me.

Loved Season 1. Hated Season 2 - it felt rather pointless to me especially all the tail section stuff. Seasons 3,4,5 were all pretty good and kind of meshed together for me.
Season 6 was disappointing.

We were figuring out who some of these new strange people are and trying to get off the island. Later on though when we were introduced to time travel, dharma, leaving, coming back, the donkey wheel, resurrection, possession, JOINING dharma in the 70s, etc. etc. etc. it just kind of took the show in a completely different direction.

Not that I minded any of that really, because LOST is still my 2nd favorite show of all time. I just think that's why I like seasons 1 and 2 so much though, because it was still all so simple.

1, 2, 5, 3 (terrible first half but amazing finish), 6, 4 (writers' strike shortened this season)

5, 6, 4, 1, 3, 2
Although it's so hard given that certain parts of seasons are really good (Latter part of season 3, post-writer's strike/Henry Gale storyline in season 2).

Its pretty hard to rank IMO, but considering I've only watched them all consecutively a couple of years ago that's probably why. I'd say the first couple of seasons were the strongest.
I think I'm gonna rewatch it at some point this year

You better hurry...only 4 days left. 
I don't really have a rank for them. After shotgunning the series a year or so ago, I like them all and think they're all very good. Even the strike-shortened one was good upon rewatch.

I've recently started a rewatch myself. Halfway through season 1. It's been years but based off of memory from original airing I'll go with

Definitenly 1,2, then 3... then the last 3 could probably be any order IMO

I just I need to watch this. I've only seen one episode. The one where some dude has to travel back in time to tell a math formula to some other dude. Needless to say, I never watched another episode.

havent rewatched completely, I rewatched 1,2, and 3 to get my wife caught up during the initial run.
So without rewatching (which ill do one I finish Merlin and Fringe  )
I'd say

6 (i liked how they wrapped it up, unlike most)
