I got some money from my sister that will turn into a mandolin and a decent peppercorn grinder. I will buy some hunting and fishing stuff with the rest.
I don't need much more for my kitchen besides a new stove.

Ooh, I was only thinking of culinary tools. My husband received a $100 Ruth's Chris gift card, which he gave to me so a friend and I could go to lunch. He also received a very nice gift card to Hebert's Meat Market.

Come to GA, and give me $100. Just getting into cooking a little bit over the past year. Got a Miyabi chefs knife and and Miyabi paring knife. They are supposed to be nice. Anyone know if these are good beginners knives?

We were in desperate need of a good bottle opener, and my wife got this for one of my gifts. I can't believe she spent $50 on a bottle opener, but I have to admit, it's pretty cool. It's got some nice weight to it.
