| Future Is Still Bright (Posted on 12/22/12 at 9:37 pm)
I know tonight was bad but we still have a lot to look forward to: 1.EG coming back soon 2.Lopez has been excellent lately and looks to be a keeper for us 3. Schedule will soften up soon: We have played the hardest schedule in the NBA(OKC 3 times,Mem,LAL,GS,MIA among others) 4. Rivers is coming along nicely and he's looking more confident 5. AD has been great 6. I know he's been cold lately but RYNO is a beast and will be even better when EG returns 7. We have Dell Demps nuff said 8. Flop City is our bitch I know it's been rough lately but i'm very confident in the direction we are going in. We just have to have patience.

– We have glaring holes at SF and PG. Eric Gordon's comeback can go one of two ways: 1) He comes in and averages between 18 and 22ppg and is able to take the ball up the court in crunch time (minimizing Vasquez' role). 2) He is never fully the same due to his knee and has an injury-filled 3 years with the Hornets.

Schedule won't get any easier. They play in the toughest division of the best conference. If Dirk returns soon and healthy, 4 possible playoff teams in the division.

Disagree with that, DJ. IF EG is healthy, we got a great return from CP, sign and trade for a young stretch 4, low risk signing of Lopez, money to spend this off season. Takes time.

Point guard is prolly the biggest issue Vazquez is just too unathletic

I didnt say he is mediocre, just dont think he has done anything yet. He has shown a good eye for finding diamond in the rough type players. This off season is key in how I judge him with the cap room that comes available. I do give him credit do the Ariza/Okafor deal though.

I completely disagree. Vasquez is to unathletic to be a good PG on a team with no talent around him, but give him a SG and a SF and he'll be a viable player. We'll get our SG back next week but we won't have a SF until next year unless we make a trade before the deadline

I still am withholding judgment on general until EG comes back. Though its gonna be hard for me to change my mind that I'd rather him as backup. SF is the biggest problem. By far.
