We don't want Rodney Garner at Auburn. He's the best Atlanta recruiter in the country, bar none. It's no coincidence that Tennessee and Auburn recruited so well there while he was on their respective staffs.

Would help Auburn with Adams. Garner is our lead recruiter with him.
It might actually hurt with Lawson, seeing as UGA totally ignored him throughout the process.

Garner is a great recruiter, but his stock has fallen over the past 5 years. I remember around 2007 after school was going after him and he was a hot name as an up and coming defensive coordinator candidate. I wouldn't be happy to see him leave, but I wouldn't be upset either.

He's not going anywhere. He pulls this crap every other year just to get a raise. As far as being a great recruiter, he's been passed by CTG and Bobo. Of course, Richt has probably handcuffed him from being the "bagman" that he used to be.

He will coach D-ends... Been at UGA a long time (since 1998), I see no reason for him to leave..
This is probable a name someone mentioned that Auburn would like to get (heard it for years) and Marshall ran with it.
