DO NOT derail this thread, making it about religion or gun control. Brief discussion about it is ok because it is related in aspects, but this thread is about information and discussing the situation. If you want to discuss gun control, go to the Poli Board. If you want to discuss religion, talk to Chicken.
Shooter identified as 20 yr old Adam Lanza, dead inside school. Older brother Ryan (24) not believed to be involved in rampage per AP.

Alternate crime scene is suspected to be that of the shooter's father who may have been targeted first, and the mother who may be a substitute pr aid at the school is also suspected to have been targeted (where she was reportedly shot at the home before the shooter went to school). Included in the injured and casualties are both children and faculty. The principle of the school is suspected to be included in the death toll.
All victims were identified to have died by gunshot wounds, per the medical examiner. This includes 8 boys and 12 girls, all aged 6-7 years old.
List of Victims
The school is Sandy Hook, a K through 4 grade school. All schools in the area were on lockdown.

Update: A teacher is reported to have a GSW to the foot, and has been moved to a local hospital. Teacher may have shot him/herself.

Yea, I've got a feeling this is all being blown way out of proportion. The towns last violent offense was in 2010, and was the only one that year.

CNN showing police with K9 unit searching the grounds for something. Don't think it's as simple as a teacher misfiring a gun.
