Why does user contolled teams in NCAA games have crappy O-line stats?

I have noticed that in every NCAA game I have owned the O-line always have crappy stats when you play each game. I can play an entire season and my o-line will have an average of maybe 5-7 P. blocks all season. If I simulate one game they can get about the same stats in one game that they do in an entire season of played games. What gives? I have never had an O lineman win any awards at the end of a season.

The game is broken. No slider can fix it.

There are some things you just need to overlook if you want to enjoy this game.

I always noticed this as well. You would see OL from other teams with 70+ and your best guy might be in double digits.

I do overlook it,but it just seems that year after year it is the same. You would think by now someone at EA woulsd have noticed it and fixed it. It has been this way for as long as i can remember.

It's like EA doesn't have any testers or people that actually play the game and know football.

I've just chalked it up to EA not giving a frick cause they know people will buy it. This security blanket that game developers get is the downfall for their creativity and improvement.

I move my starting o line to backup and sim the 4th quarter in blow outs. But yeah, I think there was 1 year out of the last 10 where they actually did get pancakes in user controlled games.

I've given up on NCAA. We need to 2KSports to take a crack at it, using ESPN NFL 2K5 as the base model
