Very hard choice, but it has to be b), Arky. They littered the board with their "right fit" posts, which all discussed a coach exactly opposite BB, but then when the hire was announced, you would think the second coming happened. I always enjoy the piggys' delusion.

Ultimately we have no idea if BB was Long's first choice or not. That is just the way it is . You WANT to see that he wasn't , just like some Hog fans want to see that he was.
The truth is, who gives a shit, all we care about is that now that he's hired, can he win here?

I don't think BB was Long's first choice. I think he may have reached out to Patterson and Peteresen. So, he was probably his 3rd or 4th choice.
But I do know for sure that Les Miles was not above Bielema on the list.
The answer to the thread is C) LSU fans thinking we actually wanted Les Miles.

some of us, many of us, wanted EXACTLY a coach like BB. Some did think we needed another high powered offense coach; but not everyone agreed.
