Taking what he's done with the Saints out of the equation, I'm not a big fan of Godell. The ultimate bean counter who is more for the Jerry Jones' & Snyders of the NFL and making money instead of the Duke Mara's who are about improving the game for the betterment of the game and fans.
Who gives a frick about a game or team in London? $$$ grab! Same goes for LA. $$$ grab They sell big hits ($$$ grab) but fine players for it ($$$ protection). Wants to go to 18 games despite what the players want. $$$ grab Wants to let half the league make the playoffs. $$$ grab Let's replacement refs screw up the first 1/4 of the season. $$$ protection Thursday night games suck! $$$ grab Draft coverage over three days. $$$ grab
What has he done to actually make the game better that hasn't been a purely monetary decision?

Did you see the other SN Polls? There is one about when Brees said Goodell had no credibility with players, and it asked if Goodell has a credibility problem.
81% said "YES".
I think it's safe to say, that the majority of NFL fans hate this guy.
